Have a say in the redesign of the street
Involve schools, residents, traders, neighborhood organizations, etc. closely in the (re)design of the environment. In this way they can put their concerns about good environmental and air quality on the agenda.
You tackle the following challenges:
That's how you do it
If you want to consult people about the plans for a redevelopment of their street, it is important that:
- the target group is well informed about the consultation round,
- the participants in the consultation round are a good reflection of the intended target group,
- the participants are sufficiently informed about the reason and purpose of the consultation and understand the concrete rules of the consultation round,
- all participants are given sufficient time and support to form and give an informed opinion,
- the government/administration is considering including the results of the consultation round in its policy decisions,
- the government/administration provides feedback to the target group about the results of the consultation and the inclusion of the results in policy decisions.
You can find more information about this in the script on participation processes.
