Installers can advise during the phase from purchase to installation of new appliances, for example, on which capacity of the appliance fits the size of the room, or the method of air supply. The Sustainable Energy (DE) qualification has existed since 2012. By choosing such a company as a stoker, you know that attention is paid to various quality characteristics when installing your appliance.
After the installation of an appliance, the chimney sweep has contact with the consumer at least once a year. They can then improve the combustion quality and reduce emissions by making any adjustments to the installation. This is not yet done under a specific code of conduct or procedure, as is the case with installers (the DE qualification).
In eleven European countries, installer is already a regulated profession (Generic name of profession - Stovemaker/Stove fitter (europa.eu)) and in sixteen countries this also applies to chimney sweep (Generic name of profession - Chimney sweep (europa.eu)).
